This weekend we’ll see super producer and musician David Foster welcome a few of his very famous friends to take the stage at The Mattamy Centre in Maple Leaf Gardens.

On hand, Peter Cetera from Chicago, crooning legend Michael Bolton, comedy veteran Sinbad, and Stevie Wonder will headline. The event is to benefit the David Foster Foundation which supports families trekking the tough path of a child in need of a major organ transplant.

Beyond his philanthropic endeavors, Foster is responsible for five decades of incredible record production and songwriting, and has discovered some of the biggest names in the business.

He famously discovered Michael Bublé at a wedding.

These days, Foster is the chairman of the Verve Music Group where he remains one of the most powerful men in the music business. Senior Arts Editor Mark Wigmore spoke with David Foster just days prior to his Miracle Gala in Toronto.
