Catherine O’Hara is the hilarious actress and improv star featured in films like Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, Beetlejuice and Home Alone. The Torontonian got her start performing with The Second City and became a household comedic name thanks to her time spent on the beloved cult series SCTV. These days she can be enjoyed on television alongside her longtime collaborator Eugene Levy in Schitt’s Creek.
On Tuesday January 12th, CBC Television presents two back-to-back episodes of the popular comedy series. The sitcom stars Eugene and Dan Levy, Anne Murphy, and O’Hara as the formerly wealthy Rose family. The program follows the quartet after they lose their riches and are forced to live a humble existence in their final asset – a country berg known as Schitt’s Creek. It’s a fish out of water premise that continues to serve up laughs.
Catherine O’Hara joined Senior Arts Editor Mark Wigmore in the JAZZ.FM91 studios to chat about a life in comedy and Season 2 of Schitt’s Creek.
